Privacy Policy

How DopaSpace handles your information, in plain language.
What we store
- Your account. The app creates an anonymous account for you on first launch so your saved items survive a restart. If you choose to link an email, we store that address.
- What you save. Your saved items, your cart, and your order history.
- App settings. Theme, the Spaces you opened last, and similar preferences. These stay on your device.
- Subscription status. If you subscribe, whether the subscription is active and when it renews.
- Diagnostics. If the app crashes, a report with the error and basic device and app version information, so we can fix it.
- Messages you send us. Your email address and what you wrote, when you use Contact Support or Send Feedback.
An anonymous account keeps your saved items on your device. Linking an email stores them in your account instead, so they appear on your other devices.
How we use it
To run the app: show your feed, keep your saved items, cart and order history available, sync them if you linked an email, answer you when you write to us, and fix crashes. That is all. We do not sell your data, we do not build profiles of you, and the feed is the same for everyone in a Space.
Ads
The free version of the mobile app shows ads from Google. In the EU and UK you are asked for consent before any ad loads, and on iOS you are asked whether the app may track you — your answer decides whether ads are personalised, and you can change it in your device's privacy settings. What the ads themselves collect is covered by Google's Privacy Policy. This website shows no ads, sets no cookies, and runs no analytics.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are sold and charged by the App Store or Google Play. Your payment details go to Apple or Google — we never see or store them. The stores tell us when a subscription renews or ends so the app knows what you have.
When you leave for a store
"Find this item online" opens the partner store's own page. From that moment their privacy policy applies, not ours — including any cookies they set. We may earn a commission on a purchase there, but we never learn what you bought and we send them nothing about you.
Who else is involved
- Our hosting provider stores your account data on its servers, including servers in the United States.
- Google serves ads in the mobile app.
- Apple and Google handle subscription purchases.
- This site loads its fonts from Google.
How long we keep it
- Your account and everything in it: until you delete the account.
- Anonymous accounts that go unused for a long time are deleted automatically, together with their data.
- Support messages and crash reports are kept as records of the issue, and we will delete yours on request.
- Waitlist emails are deleted once the beta invites have gone out.
Deleting everything
In the app: Profile → Delete Account. This is immediate and cannot be undone. It does not cancel a subscription bought from Apple or Google — cancel that in the store, or it keeps renewing. Uninstalling the app removes only the copy on your device.
Your rights
Under the GDPR (EU/UK), the CCPA (California) and similar laws, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@dopaspace.com and we will reply within 30 days. In the EU and UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
DopaSpace is not for children under 13 (under 16 in the EU and UK), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
When the app changes, this page changes with it and the date above moves. Material changes are announced in the app first.
